Sunsmart School

At Moolap Primary School, we are committed to keeping our students safe in the sun. To help protect against harmful UV rays, we follow the SunSmart guidelines during the warmer months.

Our SunSmart Practices

☀️ Hats Are a Must – All students are required to wear an appropriate SunSmart hat (refer to our Uniform Policy) during Term 1 and Term 4 whenever they are outside.
☀️ Sunscreen Provided – We supply kid-friendly sunscreen for students to use throughout the day. However, sunscreen application is optional, and we encourage parents to apply sunscreen at home before school.
☀️ Apply Before School – To ensure maximum protection, we recommend that sunscreen is applied at home before school on sunny days.

By working together, we can help students develop healthy sun protection habits and stay safe while enjoying the outdoors! 

Bug Protection

Mosquito Spray Available (Optional) – Being a rural school, we understand that bugs can be a bother. We provide OFF! Mozzie Spray to help protect students from bites while they’re outside.

# Important Notice: If your child has allergies to sunscreen or insect repellent, please inform their teacher.
