We are proud to announce we are becoming a Resource Smart School. Please use the links below and follow our journey!
EVERY DAY is now a Nude Food Day. Please try to minimise the wrappings students bring to school. Use re-usable containers instead!
Thanks for helping keep our school clean!
09.08.2019 | New Garden You may have noticed the brand-new garden currently being constructed at the front of our school. Students will be planting new plants in the garden which have kindly been donated by Barwon Water. The plants will consist of native and Indigenous shrubs and grasses. The Eco-Action Team are very excited to be planting these on Friday 16th August. Please make sure students are walking around the garden when entering and exiting the school to ensure the new plants have the chance to flourish. We hope you enjoy seeing our new garden when it is completed! We send out a huge thank you to Glenn & Kristen Patterson (mum & dad of Harvey P in Prep) who came to the rescue with their property management service business Midnight Excavations! We had to move mulch from the back to the front of the school. Glenn generously offered his service to get the job done! If you are looking for property maintenance give them a call! Nude Food The Eco-Action Team wish to remind everyone that every day is Nude Food day at Moolap Primary School. Students are encouraged to bring along reusable containers and to take their rubbish home. We are currently working towards our third star for Resource Smart which requires us to have a focus on waste management. Our Eco Team will be conducting a waste audit on Friday 16th August to ensure we are meeting our targets to achieve this third star. We thank you in advance for supporting our school and our environment! Barwon Water poster competition Barwon Water are running a poster competition to celebrate National Water Week. The theme is ‘It’s time to change the world’ meaning we work together to help everyone have access to clean water. Students are encouraged to make a poster showing what this world would look like to them. There are different categories based on age groups and prizes for both individuals and schools. Entry forms can be collected from the office or downloaded from the Barwon Water website. More information can be found on posters around the school and also from the Barwon Water website. Be creative! |
